This was a good class, it covered a wide variety of topics including types of teams, what it means to be high performing and how to communicate effectively. It also discussed how to have conflict productively while building trust, encouraging engagement, and how to hold you and your team accountable. Then concluded with a good conversation on diversity and tied it all into our current virtual environment. I would recommend this class to others.
This was one of few courses that I have taken that I enjoyed and did not feel like I wasted my time. Dr. Arrington makes it enjoyable and fun. I would recommend to anyone who is or is not in a leadership role to take his course, you will not regret it.

It’s great to have an instructor who is enthusiastic about the content they teach. David certainly enjoys sharing his knowledge! The course design of being able to watch the video, listen to the audio, and read the transcript supports an individuals style of learning.

Leading High Performing Teams is a course that is well worth taking. It is arguably as good or better than than the in-person setting that I have also taken. (which in itself is a remarkable feat). The virtual format is engaging and thoughtfully layered. One of the best formats for a virtual learning setting. I expected a regurgitation of the “same old class” from 2 years ago, but I was surprised by how much it has been updated, concepts were refreshed and examples brought up to date. It was nice to revisit similar ideas with a different perspective. Dr. Arrington provides the student with pathways to solutions that can be applied in most team situations, without prescribing a “Template” for success.
Well done, and I look forward to accessing this content in the future in order to develop and lead my own high performance team.
